VIIKINGS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
MADE TO CUT. BUILT TO USE.
We build our knives to be used, and we stand behind the craftsmanship that goes into them.
VIIKINGS knives are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship.
If your knife fails because of a manufacturing or material defect, we will evaluate it and, at our discretion, repair or replace it.
WHAT'S COVERED
Our Limited Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects that affect the intended function of the knife, including defects in the blade, handle construction, or other original components.
Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase may be required.
WHAT'S NOT COVERED
Our knives are built for real use, but no knife is indestructible.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper maintenance, improper sharpening, modifications, throwing, prying, or using the knife outside of its intended function.
Normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect. This includes scratches, coating or finish wear, discoloration, patina, and oxidation or rust resulting from improper care or storage.
Natural variations associated with handcrafted products and hand-applied, acid-washed, stonewashed, or similar finishes are not considered defects.
Factory Seconds, when offered, are sold with known cosmetic or manufacturing variations and are not covered for those disclosed conditions.
SHEATHS, HANDLE SCALES & ACCESSORIES
VIIKINGS sheaths, handle scales, hardware, and related accessories are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original purchase date.
Normal wear and tear, loss, misuse, modification, and damage caused by improper care are not covered.
Kydex and other thermoplastic materials can soften or deform when exposed to excessive heat. Damage caused by excessive heat is not considered a manufacturing defect.
WARRANTY EVALUATION
Every warranty claim is evaluated individually.
VIIKINGS reserves the right to determine whether damage resulted from a manufacturing defect, normal wear, improper maintenance, misuse, or abuse.
Approved warranty claims may result in repair, replacement with the same product, or replacement with a comparable product at VIIKINGS' discretion.
If the original product has been discontinued or is unavailable, a comparable replacement may be offered.
HOW TO START A WARRANTY CLAIM
Contact us at info@viikings.com with:
- Your name and order number or proof of purchase
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the knife and affected area
Please do not ship a knife to us until you have received return instructions.
Customers are responsible for shipping products to VIIKINGS for warranty evaluation unless otherwise authorized by VIIKINGS.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We want you to be confident in your VIIKINGS purchase.
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, contact us at info@viikings.com within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return or exchange.
RETURN ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for a return or exchange, the product must be unused, unmodified, clean, and in its original condition, with its original accessories and packaging when applicable.
Used knives are not eligible for return unless the issue qualifies for warranty coverage.
Products returned with signs of use, damage, missing components, or modification may be refused.
REFUNDS
Approved returns will receive a refund of the product purchase price.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of an error by VIIKINGS.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise authorized by VIIKINGS.
We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. VIIKINGS is not responsible for products lost or damaged during return transit.
EXCHANGES
Eligible unused products may be exchanged for another available product. Any difference in price will be handled at the time of exchange.
HANDCRAFTED KNIVES
Some VIIKINGS knives are produced or finished by hand in limited quantities.
Because of the nature of handcrafted production, slight variations in grind, finish, color, texture, markings, or other cosmetic characteristics may occur from knife to knife.
These variations are part of the character of a handcrafted product and do not affect the performance of the knife or constitute a manufacturing defect.
Effective Date: September 1, 2026
This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to qualifying VIIKINGS knives purchased on or after the effective date. Products purchased before this date remain covered under the warranty terms in effect at the time of purchase.
